Dear Residents, Businesses, Friends, and Neighbors of Calumet Park,

It is with deep pride, humility, and excitement that we have been commemorating a century of growth, community, and possibility — from 1925 to 2025, 100 years of building our Village together. What began as a modest yet ambitious community has evolved into a vibrant and resilient place we are honored to call home.

Over the past one hundred years, Calumet Park has seen countless changes: in our homes and streets, in the businesses that lift our local economy, in the infrastructure that serves us, and most importantly, in the people who make our village a living, thriving community. Through great times and trying times, we have remained connected by our shared purpose — to uphold the dignity of all, to support one another, and to leave a legacy for future generations.

As your Mayor, I want to express my deepest gratitude to all who have contributed to our Village’s story: the families who have stayed here across generations, the newcomers bringing fresh vision, the entrepreneurs who have invested in our business corridors, and the many volunteers who serve quietly behind the scenes. Each of you plays a vital role in Calumet Park’s journey.

This centennial is not merely a moment to look backward — though we will surely do that — but also to look forward. Let this milestone renew our commitment to: Community Unity, Sustainable Growth & Renewal, and Civic Engagement.

In closing, I extend my heartfelt thanks to our Village Board, staff, local organizations, and every citizen who contributes time, energy, creativity, and hope. Together, we have come far — and together, we will continue moving forward to keep Calumet Park the Place to Be…for the next 100 years!
