Building Commissioner

The Building Commissioner is responsible for overseeing all activities related to the Building Department.  The Commissioner receives and directs all plans for new projects and approves final prints on new construction, remodels and rehabs.  The Commissioner approves all final outgoing permits.  Receives and directs zoning appeals to proper entity.  Also receives and directs sales and remodel inspections for both commercial and residential properties.  Oversees code enforcement and health inspectors on daily functions.  Approves all occupancy permits for commercial, industrial and residential properties.  Receives and responds to complaints from residents or others.
