• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Driver’s License: Must Possess a valid Driver’s License at the time of application.

• Age: Must be between 21 years – 35 years old before applying.

• Education: High School Diploma, GED Certificate or High School Proficiency Statement.

• Character: Must have no felony convictions and be of good moral character.

• Residence: Officers employed by the Village of Calumet Park will be required to reside within Cook, DuPage, or Will County.

• Testing: Must be able to successfully complete all phases of testing which may include, but not limited to a written examination, oral interview, extensive background investigation, and post offer physical and drug screen.

• P.O.W.E.R Card: Must possess a valid P.O.W.E.R. Card issued between the dates of 9/30/25 and 9/30/26.
